Check out the size of that mushroom, bigger than my palm. I would love to know more about mushroom ID. I don't know enough to risk eating them even when they look just like the ones in the store. I'm really happy to see them in the gardens however since fungi are an important part of the soil ecology.
The rainbow chard and the kale are making a comeback now that they are getting more water. I still need to actually fix the drip system but for now the sprinkler is working.
I pulled some nice size French Breakfast radish along with some Cherry Belle and Zlata.
The gold/tan ones are Zlata.
There was a nice assortment of large tomatoes although the rain made many of them split. I forgot to take a picture of the 8.5 pounds of cherry tomatoes.
Off to the SunFlour Market in Superior. I had some of Willa's delicious stuffed pepper soup. After delivering all the eggs and veggies I drove through a rain storm and did chores in a drizzle. Sadly it only amounted to .1"
It's almost 7 pm. I've had a little dinner, still need to sort eggs and feed dogs. Then a cup of tea and off to bed.
