My Edible Garden

I've been gardening for most of my life and have been a devoted fan of organic gardening the whole time. It just makes so much more sense to work in harmony with Mother Nature than to fight her. Besides which it is better for the planet and better for our bodies. Here you can see what I'm planting and harvesting, with gardening hints and resources thrown in for good measure.

Farmer Friday

Farmer Friday is a bit late this week.  Too much going on. Egg production is way up

I built racks for the greenhouse

I took inventory. 203 tomato plants in there!

I picked salad mix, baby kale, arugula, Red Russian kale and more.

Pregnant Posie is still pregnant

Caramel is getting a little belly on her.

I got stung twice in the night by a scorpion. I’m not allergic so more just annoying itch and burning for a couple of days.

The daffodils are blooming. Spring is coming.

My son brought me a load of wood and filled up the rack he made for me.

#appreciation
I appreciate my thoughtful kids. I also appreciate all the things I have, a roof over my head, food on the table, no fears of losing my job or my house. I appreciate small mundane things like I have a washing machine, tools and materials to work with and so much more.
