My Edible Garden

I've been gardening for most of my life and have been a devoted fan of organic gardening the whole time. It just makes so much more sense to work in harmony with Mother Nature than to fight her. Besides which it is better for the planet and better for our bodies. Here you can see what I'm planting and harvesting, with gardening hints and resources thrown in for good measure.

Seedy Sunday 5/3/2020

I go some beets and green onion planted  out.

Potted up eggplant, basil, marigolds.

Then planted about 8 trays of seed. Winter squash, summer squash, flowers, herbs. I also planted the tomatoes in big pots on the patio. Then set about 10 mouse traps to help protect them. The basil, sweet alyssum and cucumbers I planted a few days are coming up.  Looking forward to more things growing.

#appreciation
Today just appreciating being home, enjoying the day, the sunshine, the garden, the new growth everywhere
