My Edible Garden

I've been gardening for most of my life and have been a devoted fan of organic gardening the whole time. It just makes so much more sense to work in harmony with Mother Nature than to fight her. Besides which it is better for the planet and better for our bodies. Here you can see what I'm planting and harvesting, with gardening hints and resources thrown in for good measure.

7/24/18. Tuesday

Last nights sunset was pretty amazing

The zinnia patch is beginning to bloom.
It was hot again today so mostly I moved water hoses and did some clean up inside my house.

Part of cleaning up was reorganizing some of the seed collection and rounding up all the stuff I'll start planting as soon as it cools off a little.

Lunch was a dab of lettuce with a lot of tomatoes, homemade pesto and mozzarella. #eatwhatyougrow

Leaving from moms to do afternoon chores at my house it looks like it's raining over there.  But typical of monsoon while the gutter is running in one side of the highway it's dry on the other side. And it wasn't my side. Sigh.

It was another amazing sunset but still no rain to speak of.
